Shipping Policies

We can ship internationally to most destinations. Note that there are restrictions on some products which cannot be shipped to certain international destinations. Due to the nature of international shipping, standard USPS Priority International shipping may take a month or even longer to ship to designations such as Greece or Russia, even if an order is processed and sent on the same day that it is received. The Hermitage of the Holy Cross is not responsible for and does not credit items lost or damaged by the shipping agent.

We very often ship orders the same day that an order is received, however, there may be a small delay on some orders based on the size of the order and the availability of items ordered. Should we expect an extended delay on any order, we will notify you immediately. However, please allow some time for non-rush delivery orders to be sent.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Return policy

All returns require prior permission. Customers may return most new and unopened items in their original condition within 30 days of invoice for full refund. Retail and distributor accounts must return within 90 days of invoice. Customer pays return shipping fees.

The Hermitage of the Holy Cross will gladly ship a replacement and reimburse return postage for defective, incorrect, or short shipped items. Return postage is reimbursed at USPS Priority Rate.

No credit is given for items damaged by the shipping agent. If a carton arrives damaged, the customer should refuse shipment. If an item is received damaged, the customer must report it immediately to the shipper. Packaging material must be retained for inspection to receive credit or replacement.

A 50% restock fee may apply when ten (10) or more items of an order are returned.
