Sales of Mother Melania's stories benefit both her own monastery, Holy Assumption Monastery in Calistoga, CA and St. Barbara Monastery in Santa Paula, CA, her mother monastery, where she began writing the Good Neighbors books. The sisters at both monasteries lead a life of prayer, community and hospitality.
